Date4/17/18Activism is when a person campaigns and does whatever they can to make the community around them a better place. Activism is important because the activist ar doing what they love while part the community make a change in their community. Three teens that are activist are Liza Yaroshenko, Marley Dias and Malala Yousafzai. The first activist is Marley Dias, Marley started by conclusion the problem which was right in her school. When she was 11 she complained to her mother that all the she was learning was ab extinct white boys and dogs, she told her mom she didnt have the freedom to read what she cute o.She launched a campaign called 1000 benightedgirlbooks in 2015, with the goal to collect 1,000 books to donate for black girls. Her two friends Briana and Amina joined her campaign, and they started to be called BAM in social media. The campaign to a fault called public attention to the lack of diversity in childrens literature. They collected everywhere 9,000 books. Ma ny of these books have been sent to a childrens book drive in Jamaica. The second activist is Liza Yaroshenko. She got started when she was just 15 age old. tolerate autumn President Viktor Yanukovych declared that tackling infectious indispositions was a priority further the government allocated no funds in 2013 to fighting hepatitis and only 40% of the sum the president proposed for Aids and tuberculosis.Thats when Liza decided to speak out.She speaks out on healthcare laws that hurt those affected by human immunodeficiency virus and AIDS, as well as general HIV awareness. Liza was six years old when she lost her mother to Aids. Like tens of thousands of Ukrainians, Lizas mother contracted HIV while injecting a cheap heroin substitute made of gas poppy straw. In 2012, for the first time, there was a slight drop in the bite of newly registered cases of HIV in Ukraine. And the last activist is Malala Yousafzai.Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani education advocate who, at the age of 17, became the youngest person to win the Nobel field pansy Prize after surviving an assassination attempt by the Taliban. In 2013, she gave a speech to the United Nations.Malala highlighted her focus on education and womens rights, spurring world leaders to change their policies. Those teen activist are making a change in the world by giving books to short(p) children or fighting for a cure of a deadly disease or just fighting for the education of young girls and boys.
